About & Methodology
MacroTray builds free nutrition calculators for popular restaurants, so you can see what is in your actual order, not a sample meal from a PDF.
Where the numbers come from
Every figure comes from the restaurant's own published nutrition information. We import it with a script, check it against the source, and show the source on every page.
How totals are calculated
- We add up the items in your order. Portion and quantity choices multiply an item's values (for example Light ×0.5, Double ×2).
- Where a restaurant publishes per-6-inch values and says to double them for a footlong, the footlong option doubles them.
- Where a label shows “less than 1 gram”, we count it as 0.5g.
- Calories are rounded to the nearest 5, matching FDA label rules. % Daily Value uses FDA reference amounts, scaled to your calorie goal.
- Net carbs are total carbohydrates minus dietary fiber.
